A friend recently mentioned how he was not going anywhere for spring break because hotels are too expensive and no relatives would have him.    I told him to look at AirBnB.  He was surprised at how many low cost options there were to stay at really nice places.  You can rent a whole house, mansion, condo or just a bedroom.  You can even rent a Tree-house.  Here is a link that will save you $35 on your first rental.  www.airbnb.com/c/billm2796  He is now taking his family to Costa Rica for Spring Break and staying at this beautiful oceanfront home for only $988 for 7 days.  You can become an AirBnB host and make money by renting your home as well.  There are many great options in the U.S. as well.
