?? Spring Into Better Brain Health

It is hard to believe that spring is here. I greatly appreciate each and every subscriber to this newsletter, and I hope that the included resources and events can help anyone spring into better brain health.

Stay tuned!

I will soon launch my "Brain Care for All" blog on Psychology Today among my fellow peers and brilliant colleagues like Mitchell Clionsky , Michael Rucker, Ph.D. , Jen Fraser, PhD , and more!

I am so grateful for this experience to continue to write about all things brain health for anyone with a brain! ??

As always, I welcome suggestions for blogs, resources, or podcast topics that you would like to know more about. One of the best parts of brain health science is that I always learn new things from the wonderful questions and insights of others.

?? A Kids Book About Brain Health published by A Kids Co.

This month it was Teagan Tuesday and International Children's Book Day. I was recently asked about my motivation for this book so I'm sharing my reply below...

?? "By staying true to my mission of advocating for?brain care for all,?I wrote a children's book about brain health with LeAnne Stuver of the Virtual Brain Health Center. My inspiration for this project stemmed from my awe-inspiring niece, Teagan Grace. Over the past summer, she was my teacher and kept showing me the simple ways she takes care of herself while asking brilliant questions about her brain.

I noticed that kids ‘get it’ and have a natural curiosity to learn and understand healthy habits.?Young children who are developing their reading skills do so with their trusted grownups.?"A Kids Book About Brain Health"?would have the potential to spark intergenerational dialogue and promote brain-healthy habits for individuals of all ages. Insights from my niece along with the latest brain health science are reflected in this book and aim to guide readers of all ages to keep their brains top of mind."
