???My latest learning: Mind Gardening

Do you know what "mind gardening" is? And why you should start gardening!

I am a passionate hobby gardener and have recently come across the concept of mind gardening that I would like to share with you:

How does the concept of mind gardening work?

Mind gardening is about consciously cultivating good thoughts and ideas and pulling out unnecessary or harmful ones like weeds. A method for everyone, even without green fingers!

Step 1: Think of your thoughts and your mind as your garden that you need to look after. Be careful not to let any weeds grow in your mind garden. For example, negative thoughts and fears.

Step 2: You sow seeds by cultivating your curiosity. You consciously select inspirations and ideas that you want to plant in your head.

Step 3: You let trees grow by expanding your knowledge and "watering" them regularly. Actively engage with thoughts and look for interesting connections between different ideas.

Step 4: The new thoughts you generate are the fruit you harvest. And ideally, share them with others.?

No matter how intensively you practice mind gardening, make sure that it doesn't become stressful for you. Sometimes a small change in focus and awareness of what content you consume is enough to make a difference.?

I hope I've been able to inspire you to start gardening at the latest at the beginning of spring! The daffodils will soon start to bloom!

??? Career Inspiration: Your path to success??

In a world full of career opportunities, finding your dream job is often a challenging journey.

These tips can help you on your way to professional fulfillment.

?? Take time for self-reflection. Ask yourself what drives you, which skills you particularly value, and which professional aspects are really important to you.

?? Set yourself clear and achievable professional goals. Think about where you see yourself in the future and develop concrete steps to achieve these goals.

?? Make your CV appealing and meaningful. Emphasize not only your qualifications but also your successes and skills. A well-structured CV attracts the interest of potential employers.

?? Tailor each application individually to the position you are applying for. Show that you fully understand the requirements of the position and why you are the ideal candidate.

?? Invest in your further training. Keep your skills up to date and continuously strive for professional development.

?? Build a strong professional network. Use platforms such as LinkedIn, attend networking events, and exchange ideas with industry colleagues. Contacts often open up unexpected opportunities. ??♀?

Your path to success may be winding and full of stumbling blocks, but somehow it's precisely these stumbles that make you grow, isn't it? ??

?? Female Leadership: How do you deal with conflicts in your team?

Conflicts are inevitable, especially in a team.

But you know what? That's okay.

As a leader, it's our job to manage these conflicts and use them as an opportunity for growth.?

?? First, "listen": Everyone has a story to tell. Understand the perspectives of everyone involved. It's important that everyone feels heard.

?? Secondly, "communicate clearly and openly": Misunderstandings are often at the root of conflict. Clear communication can help to avoid them.

?? Thirdly, "promote a positive atmosphere": A positive environment encourages collaboration and minimizes conflict.

???? And finally, "be a role model": Your behavior sets the standard for your team. Act with integrity and respect.?

Remember, conflicts are not the end of the world.

They are an opportunity to learn, grow and improve.

Good luck with this!?

What added value do you offer your team?

It's crazy: If you want to train people in Germany, you need a trainer′s license. If you want to work as a lawyer, you need a state examination. If you want to drive a forklift truck, you need a forklift license.

But working as a manager? You can do that just like that. It's assumed that you have a natural talent:

Leading people? Anyone can do that.

I know from my own experience that this is not the case. Many people who become managers have no idea what exactly their job is - and what they have to do to do it well.

Let me give you an example from my career. I remember it clearly: I had already been a manager for some time when I finally did my first coaching session. And the leadership coach asked me: "What added value would you like to offer your team?" I looked at him, perplexed and silent. After a while, I asked back, embarrassed: "How do others answer that question?"

Today, I know that you can learn to manage employees - and you should. Numerous studies have shown that the direct manager has the greatest influence on whether employees are committed. Whether they are fully committed. And also, whether they stay with the company or move on in frustration.

Hardly any company can afford to have managers who have no idea what they are doing.

If you would like to develop your leadership skills or have managers in your team who would benefit from training, now is the right time to do so.

???Change starts with you

Nothing will change unless you change something! It's up to you!

The alternative: Keep doing what you're doing ....

For now, I wish you a great week, enjoy life, and remember to SHOW UP!

If you say what you want you increase the chance of being heard!??

Have a great day and remember, it is the one who gives up that does not reach success.

And now I wish you all the best and talk soon!

Best Regards, Katharina
