After nearly ten months at Tyler Technologies as a Marketing Data Intern, I've embarked on a remarkable journey. Transitioning from a full-time student in the U.S. to simultaneously interning with a prestigious organization serving the public sector has been an incredibly enriching experience.
Throughout my spring internship co-op, I had the opportunity to apply my academic knowledge to tackle real organizational challenges. My role involved extensive work with campaign databases, where I delved into the realms of Google Analytics 4 and Dynamics 365 CRM within digital web analytics. Utilizing tools like SQL, PowerBI, Marketo, Dynamics CRM, Google Analytics, and Microsoft Excel became a daily routine.
One of the significant projects I undertook involved collaborating closely with the marketing department. I played an active role in maintaining data accuracy, extracting target databases for campaigns, and creating summary dashboards for managers. Additionally, I spearheaded projects such as Vertical Meetings, Stakeholder Analysis, and played a pivotal role in refining dashboards in PowerBI and Looker Studio. Furthermore, I provided invaluable assistance in developing a Data Growth Strategy to enhance overall efficiency.
I am profoundly grateful to my manager, Girija Kulkarni Rayasam , and my esteemed colleague Pavan Kumar , Director Amy Casey and Vice President Arik Flanders for their continuous support and insightful guidance. Moreover, I extend my sincere appreciation to Prof. Gaurav Shekhar , Sivya Leventhal , and the esteemed professors at the University of Texas Dallas for their unwavering support and mentorship, which truly made this internship/co-op a remarkable learning journey.
