Spring '23 Internship Experience

This Spring, I started working for Air Squared Inc. as a Supply Chain Intern at its headquarter located in Denver, Colorado.?It is the industry leader in designing and manufacturing oil-free scroll compressors, which derives its value from a single core competency-"oil-free scroll competency".

With the theoretical knowledge I gained through my curriculum at the University of Texas at Dallas, I was successfully able to implement my learnings to achieve value-driven results. Some of my projects were:

• Built a cost model to track historical and future costing metrics.
• Consolidated and pulled data from company's ERP software to develop a dashboard that classified parts as A, B and C (ABC Analysis) using Pareto Principle.
• Communicated with the warehouse team to learn firm's current material flow processes and discovered key discrepancies; consequently working on its improvement with an objective of proposing digital environment.
• Utilized SQL Database to improve visibility of product line break down of firm's current warehouse storage needs.?

In addition, this experience helped me in gaining a thorough understanding of the supply chain strategies that help companies reach their goal of optimization. I have been fortunate to have had the opportunity to work and grow with Air Squared!
