The National Student Research Clearinghouse has released its Spring 2021 enrollment trends report. Continuing a dreadful trend, the enrollment among community colleges has declined. The enrollment by adults in community colleges continues a trend downward. The other sectors for adult students trended down slightly as well. The exception: for-profits age 30 and up increased.
The enrollment for undergraduate programs generally was down. The enrollment for undergraduate certificates and community colleges particularly suffered. The good news on the graduate front continued, with enrollment increasing robustly for masters, graduate certificates, and doctoral programs.
