As LineLeader's go-to person for all things people and culture, I've got some exciting stories to share about how we're brightening up the workplace with a big dose of mental wellness for May (aka Mental Health Awareness Month)!?

Let's kick things off with some eye-opening stats: did you know that about 1 in 5 adults grapple with mental health issues each year? ?
And our educators, the real-life superheroes shaping young minds, are feeling the strain too. So, I'll be sharing tips and tricks of how we spread smiles and support our Quacks in promoting a healthy work-life balance and mental well-being; and how you can employ that in your own organization.?

Walking the Talk: Mental Health Walks?
Did you know that just 30 minutes of walking can turn a frown upside down? That's right! At LineLeader, we're all about strutting our stuff and soaking up those feel-good vibes. ?
Picture this: you take a quick break from your busy to-do list and go outdoors for a walk with your work bestie. Not only is it a great time to catch up with a friend but also walking 75 minutes per week lowers your risk of depression!?

Empowering Through Stretching and Breathing?
Our May stretching and breathing session is?the perfect antidote to those midweek blues. Led by our very own relaxation guru, Jess DuBois (from the Professional Services team) on May 22nd, our Quacks are excited to join this interactive event via Zoom that caters to both our in-person and remote employees.?

Building Engagement Through 'Friday Colors'?

At LineLeader, we're all about celebrating the things that make us unique. That's why Fridays are a ray of positivity with our 'Friday Colors' initiative. Whether it's rocking your favorite jersey?or showing off your furry friend in our company-wide Microsoft Teams channel, we're all about spreading those good vibes far and wide!?
And on May 31st – I've asked our Quacks to ‘go green’ and share a pic of them wearing green to show colleagues that they care about each other's mental health.?
