Ideal Audience
When creating content online to showcase your expertise you need to have a clear picture of your ideal audience. Who are you writing for? What pain do they have? Are they moving away from something? Or alternatively, what vision do they have? Maybe they're moving towards something?
HINT: Your ideal audience is likely who you were in the past. Before you cultivated the expertise you have now.
Once you have an idea of who this is, find them and talk to them. Get to know them. Obsess over their lives. And find that link between what your knowledge is and how it will provide transformation to this ideal audience, even if it's just hearing you on a podcast.
Commit to this process for 30 days and watch your engagement, and more importantly, your conversions rise!
Also. Know this. Your ideal audience may not engage on your post directly or even immediately. Depending on the expertise you offer, not every one is comfortable declaring their pain point on your post.
So don't get so lost in public engagement. Your REAL measurement should be some level of conversion. Did they DM you, or sign up for your list. Maybe registered for an upcoming webinar. Focus on creating the value to inspire them to enter your world as privately as that might be.
