Tell us about your role at Nightmarket and how long you’ve been with the company.
I’ve been with Nightmarket Games for over four years, primarily working as a programmer focused on front-end game development. Throughout my time here, I’ve had the opportunity to wear multiple hats, expanding my skills to work on in-editor tools and back-end game services.
What do you love most about your job?
I love seeing everything come together. Game development is a collaboration of many disciplines, and there’s something special about being part of a team working toward a shared vision. Watching our individual contributions blend to create something greater is incredibly rewarding.

What are your hobbies outside of gaming?
I’m passionate about wildlife photography, especially birds. I always try to take my camera along when traveling or walking, finding it a relaxing way to connect with nature. Recently, I’ve also been crafting with macrame and Chinese knot tying, making a surprising amount of shrimp designs along the way!
Describe your dream project.
My dream project is one where the entire team shares a unified vision and excitement. I’d love to work on something that allows space for creativity and small details that add depth to the player experience. Those moments of whimsy and care are what elevate a project.
What advice would you give for anyone aspiring to get into game development?
Be open to exploring different areas and constantly learning. Game development is a dynamic field with endless chances to try new things. That curiosity can lead to unexpected growth and even spark ideas that become a part of your skill set.
What are your core beliefs when it comes to your job?
I believe in the power of communication and flexibility. Understanding team and project goals is essential for making better decisions, supporting others, and solving problems effectively. These qualities help in seeing things from multiple perspectives and creating tools that make everyone’s work smoother.
