?? Spotlight on Tharun: Elevating Salesforce and AdTech Services ??
We are thrilled to introduce Tharun Kumar, a key member of our Salesforce and AdTech Services team at Brysa. Tharun's journey is a testament to the power of self-driven learning. Originally trained as a mechanical engineer, Tharun took it upon himself to dive into the world of coding and Salesforce, all through online resources and relentless self-study. His passion for the subject is evident as he continuously sharpens his skills in his free time.
With a deep understanding of Salesforce, Tharun brings enthusiasm and dedication to every project, always pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. We are proud to have such a committed learner and innovator on our team at Brysa!
Q: Where did you grow up?
I grew up in Coimbatore, and completed my school and university education in this city as well. My native place, is this beautiful city called Theni, which is a small town situation in the valleys of Western Ghats.
Q: What is your role in the company?
I am a mid-level Salesforce Developer and I work with the Salesforce architect in Brysa Limited - Rahul Sherikar .
Q: What originally brought you to Brysa and how long have you been a part of the team?
After completing my mechanical engineering, I was constantly looking for opportunities to grow and up skill myself. I had no background of coding, but I learnt it and in this journey of self education, I came across Salesforce. I was fascinated by what the system has to offer and used various sources to gain as much information on the platform as I could.
After Covid, I was looking for a new professional challenge, something different from Quality Engineering, which my mechanical engineering offered. Something to match my interest in Salesforce in coding. That is when Brysa came along and I joined the team in February 2023.
Even though I thought I had learnt about Salesforce, working on the platform has completely changed my perspective. There are endless possibilities with this software and it will totally change the way business is done.
Q: What is the best advice you have ever received?
"Be yourself". I feel a lot of freedom as confidence ever since I have started living by this.

Q: Who has been your biggest inspiration?
My father is my role model.
He has made a lot of sacrifices and has been selfless in doing so. His hard work, grit and determination have been exemplary for me and I wish to emulate that in my life.
Professionally, I am in awe of Brysa's CEO, Satish. How he handles his workload and how involved and immersed he is, is astounding. On top of that, he is the calmest person I know and never gets flustered.
Q: If you could have a superpower that only works in office, what would you want it to be?
Scan the code and find the bugs.
I wish I could do that, just take a look at the code and see what needs to change. I know I will end up saving so much time.
Q: What is the toughest professional challenge you overcame?
The project we did for Native, is one of my best moments in Brysa so far. Native was missing out on business opportunities because of the nature in which they would receive enquiries. Integrating ChatGPT with Salesforce and Gmail was a very unique solution.
It was something that I had read up and proposed once we received the brief from Native. The execution had multiple challenges but as we moved along the road and saw the results, the team was elated. I too felt a strong sense of accomplishment and have been very confident in my abilities and my work since then.
Q: What fascinates you the most about AI? How do you think it impacts your work?
It is revolutionary!
Right now, AI is still young, but businesses and people have to master the skill to work with AI as our skills will soon be obsolete. Right now, it is 50-50 with AI solving a lot of issues but it will soon grow in prominence and as the systems become more and more sophisticated, AI will be able to do most of the intelligent and the mundane tasks. I see this with Salesforce as well. How smart the new developments are, even from a backend perspective. Previously, they relied a lot more on code, but the new innovations have very little dependence on code and a lot more on AI.
Q: If you were a brand, what would be your tagline?
Crafter to envision, create and lead!
