Which constituencies are likely to see fierce competition in GE2025? Analysts are expecting Punggol, the newest GRC formed, to be among those hotly contested in the upcoming election. ST looks at the issues and concerns on the ground.

In the past week, new faces from the PAP and opposition parties have been seen on walkabouts. Three PAP new faces appear to have been redeployed to other constituencies ahead of the election, while potential National Solidarity Party candidates were spotted on a walkabout in Tampines over the weekend.

Several opposition parties are reviewing their strategies after changes to the electoral map, with some labelling themselves underdogs to drum up support and raise funds for their campaign when GE is called.
