The Spotlight, October 2023
World Mental Health Month 2023
October is World Mental Health Month. At Auxilion, we recognise that mental health is a vital component of our overall wellbeing. We want to emphasise how important it is to seek help when necessary and to highlight the supports that are available to our employees through our EAP programme and other resources.
Throughout October, we hosted a diverse range of events, online and across our Irish and UK offices, to promote wellness, mindfulness, and self-care. We hope that they will serve to emphasise the importance of mental health and encourage members of our community to take on habits and activities beneficial to it.
We will continue to work together to create a workplace that prioritises and supports mental health and wellbeing. We are always keen to hear ideas from employees on how we can develop our mental health supports and initiatives.?
We encourage all of our readers to familiarise themselves with their employers’ mental health programmes and resources, to make use of them when necessary, and to contribute to working environments that promote mental health and wellbeing. Happy World Mental Health Month to everyone in the Auxilion community.

Life at Auxilion - Simon Davey
Simon Davey recently began working as a Customer Experience Manager with Auxilion. He told us about the role, how it’s gone so far, and how he has found the culture at Auxilion.
“I came to Ireland thinking the working environment would be completely different from working with South African companies. But because of the areas I worked in- government, healthcare, financial, tech companies- it’s very similar to working here. Even the way business is done has a lot of similarities."
"Even though a lot of customers have similar working environments, they often have different business processes or requirements and in addition, they might be at a different stage of their lifecycle with us. Every customer has their own challenges and requirements.”
