Why did you first attend the Trucking Profitability Strategies Conference, and what keeps you coming back?

I first attended at the recommendation of our CEO, Craig Savell, a past TPS Board Member and seasoned attendee. What initially drew me in was the promise of a forum exclusively for trucking companies of all sizes, a rarity in the conference circuit. Over the years, what has kept me coming back to TPS is its unique atmosphere of openness, honesty, and transparency.

What makes TPS different from others? What changes have you seen in the conference over the years?

TPS stands out because it's exclusively for trucking companies, fostering a sense of community rather than competition. Regardless of company size, we all face common challenges in the industry, and TPS provides a platform for sharing experiences, strategies, and solutions. Over the years, TPS has evolved to address shifting priorities and challenges facing our businesses, offering practical takeaways that companies can implement immediately.

Why did you volunteer to be a board member?

I decided to volunteer because of the tangible value this conference brings to our business and the broader trucking community. The insights gleaned from TPS sessions and the relationships forged with fellow trucking professionals have proven invaluable in navigating the dynamic landscape of our industry.

What have you taken from TPS and applied to your organization or role?

Each year, TPS equips me with insights into profitability measures, cost management, equipment efficiency, and leadership strategies—all tailored to the challenges we face in our daily operations. These takeaways have directly influenced our business practices and contributed to our success.

How can TPS help your business?

The knowledge, takeaways, and networking opportunities provided by the conference are invaluable assets for navigating turbulent waters and positioning our businesses for success.

?Why is attending TPS a good use of time and resources during this challenging time?

In times of uncertainty, such as the challenging period we find ourselves in now, attending TPS remains a wise investment of time and resources.?The transformative power of TPS lies in its ability to bring together like-minded professionals, foster collaboration, and provide actionable insights that drive tangible results.
