Menno grew up in a small town in The Netherlands and studied Dutch Law in Amsterdam, just like many others in recruitment, he fell into it by accident but quickly fell in love with it all! He started as a recruitment consultant with an English recruitment agency which gave Menno the base of fast-paced, sales-minded, objection-handling work experience and the absolute joy of helping people to take the next step in their career!
Helping others is a major driving force in Menno's life. He is not only passionate about making a difference in the lives of colleagues, clients, and candidates of Gazelle Global but also in the lives of his friends and people outside his professional circle. Menno takes pride in supporting various international and local foundations and charities, such as Unicef, Wereldouders, and smaller local initiatives like providing assistance dogs to people in need.
Menno is a proud husband to his beautiful wife and a devoted father to three children. He loves to join the kids on the weekend at their sports and extra-curricular activities. You can find Menno every Saturday morning at Field Hockey, Tennis, or musical performances proudly supporting his children. Creating new connections and interactions through sports and creativity are important cornerstones of Menno’s life. He firmly believes and teaches his kids that life is all about people, memories, and the connections you make. He encourages his children and team to explore their passions/talents and give 110% when doing something and do it to the best of their ability.
