Spotlight on ISMers: Meet Moazzam Khan

What date did you join ISM, and in what role?

I started as Project Manager at ISM on May 21, 2013. One of my very first assignments was helping one of our customers with their Enterprise Mobility Strategy and implementation. I worked as Solution Architect to help define the strategy and implement it. It was a challenging and fun assignment. After a few years as both a Solution Architect and Project Manager, I was given the responsibility to lead ISM’s mobility practice as the Mobility Practice Manager.

What is your current role at ISM? ?

For the past two years, I've been Manager, Delivery Architects and Application Developers, helping to lead and deliver Application solutions.

What opportunities for growth have you experienced at ISM?

ISM has provided me with a path to grow my career. I've gotten the support of my peers and mentorship from leaders. The ISM family is full of extraordinary talent, and I get to learn something new every day. I’ve had the opportunity to be trained in technology, leadership, and management and to apply these skills on the job. I look forward to continued mentorship to help me grow.

What do you like (best) about working at ISM?

ISM has provided me with a work environment that helped me understand what “work-life balance” really means. I like to be challenged and I like to work hard ensuring I achieve the desired results for my projects, but when it’s time to relax and unwind, I get the opportunity to do so. ISM was my very first job after we moved to Canada in 2013 and I am blessed to be part of ISM family.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I love spending time with my boys and when they are busy, I go fishing. It’s my “zen” place to relax with friends and enjoy some calm time away from technology. We are also foodies who to travel. We were lucky to go on our dream trip before the pandemic started. I love to experience different cultures and try different foods.
