Hi Gulzar!

What do you do at BI:PROCSI?

I am a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer at BI:PROCSI and am involved in the entire product development lifecycle, including the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of new and existing features.

I am responsible for understanding problem statements, business requirements, high and low-level design, implementation, and testing of clean and functional code on the front and back end. Additionally, I engage in identifying potential blockers, bottlenecks, and work with the team to come up with ways to resolve such problems.

How did you find the onboarding experience with BI:PROCSI? Were there any aspects that stood out as particularly positive or challenging?

My onboarding experience with BI:PROCSI was extremely smooth and made me feel very welcome throughout the whole process. I was provided with a clear onboarding plan and the required work-related equipment before I joined. There was a compliance meeting ensuring I understood and agreed with all company policies beforehand. An induction meeting was conducted to share the company's vision, mission, my job role, and duties. Last but not least, there was a strong connection that I felt from the moment I accepted my job offer, during onboarding, and throughout my first week with introduction calls!

I really loved the idea of checking back with me on a regular basis to help me adapt well to BI:PROCSI culture and exchange feedback both ways!

What were the main reasons you chose to join BI:PROCSI?

I really enjoyed my interview process, which not only assessed my skillset but also gave me an opportunity to get to know my future teammates. In my opinion, finding the right people to work with is even more important than finding the next job role itself. Even though it was a short time and process focused on testing my skills, there was always room to help me find out about BI:PROCSI as well. Upon receiving a job offer at BI:PROCSI, I was very excited and keen to join this very open, respectable, and friendly work environment.

What do you enjoy most about working here?

There are a number of reasons I love being here, but the positive work culture and recognition with appreciation really make BI:PROCSI a wonderful employer to work for! There are regular team catch-ups, meetings, and also lots of fun team activities to take part in throughout the year.

I really feel satisfied, fulfilled, and motivated to keep going!

What would you say sets this company apart from others you've worked for?

A couple of things I would say, but my favorite one is the strong connection I always feel with my work colleagues and even higher management at BI:PROCSI.

Obviously, there are times when you are working towards tight deadlines, but you always feel supported and cheered on to deliver successfully!

Can you share any advice for individuals who are considering joining BI:PROCSI?

There are endless opportunities to grow and develop at BI:PROCSI, which is a great thing in itself but it could have an impact on setting short and long-term goals. One piece of advice I can share is to stay flexible but still focused, open, and transparent but still determined to learn, deliver, and enjoy!

Finally, when you're not being a Digital Wizard, what do you like to do for fun?

I am a dad with three boys aged 10, 8, and 5, who keep me very busy in the evenings and weekends! I love taking them out for little walks, driving to beaches in summer, and watching their favourite TV cartoons sometimes!

I also love travelling, hiking, and trekking!
