Dundee has been showcased as a shining light in the buy to let property market. Statistics collated by Gilson Gray, have evidenced that Dundee is now benefiting from recent investments made into the City, that has really added to the appeal of the area.

Dundee is expected to continue to be competitive with the average price of a detached home in the City increasing from £257,372 in 2020 to £332,940 in August 2023. Semi-detached properties are 27.2% higher over the same period of time.
Adding to the appeal, Dundee is great for commuting from Edinburgh and Glasgow. You can travel via Train in just over one hour, and one and a half hours respectively. This adds to the appeal of investing here with good transport links.

If you are in the market to invest, then Dundee should be given serious consideration, with many infrastructure projects still in the pipelines and a continual growing economy. It is also one of the most affordable places to own a property. You can purchase two or three properties in Dundee for the same price as one property in Edinburgh.
