Spotlight on Chantal Murphy

Our Teammate spotlight this month is Chantal Murphy from the Cambridge office! Chantal started at AGDATA in 2002 as a customer service representative and quickly moved onto being a customer service coordinator. After taking on a few other roles, she is now the Customer Support Manager for Canada.
When she’s not at the office working hard, Chantal is a doting mother to her 17-year-old daughter. “A lot of my life really revolves around my daughter, Paige.”
Her daughter has been in competitive cheer for the past 6 years and made the world’s team last season. Chantal and her family attended one of the biggest cheerleading competitions held in Orlando at the ESPN center to support Paige. They placed first in Ontario, top 3 in Canada, and 6th overall in the world for their division.
“We usually spend our time travelling to different parts of Canada and the US for competitions. In the off season we like to travel to mostly all tropical places”
Chantal and her family have visited all over the world for vacation. They mostly enjoy visiting tropical locations such as Cuba and Greece, and they try to make the most out of their time by doing a number of activities such as: snorkeling, ziplining, swimming with the sea life and other fun things. They also connect with the culture and people when they visit, bringing supplies to local schools in need.
Once, Chantal may have gotten a little too connected to the some of the wildlife in Mexico. “I was learning about the Mayan culture when the family’s pet squirrel decided to jump on my head…..not sure what kind of luck that brings”
When she’s not travelling, she works on renovations for the new house she recently purchased, catches a blue jays game, or just hangs out with friends or family. One of her 7 siblings is the lead goalie for the Erie Otters so in the winter she makes sure to catch some OHL games to show her support!
We’re lucky to have you on the team for the past 18 years Chantal! We appreciate everything you’ve done for us so far and are looking forward to seeing what the future holds, and can’t wait to hear about more travel adventures.
