1MWIS is a global network of women in STEM. We profile the stories of women studying & working in STEM to provide real role models to the next generation of girls.

why?

The lack of visible, female role models is one of the key factors influencing girls' choice to pursuing or stay in STEM education & careers. By celebrating the experiences of women in STEM, we seek to increase accessibility, celebrate diversity and show our girls their aspirations are achievable and dreams, attainable.
