Anyone who’s lived in an earthquake-prone area knows that they are attention-grabbing events!?Unfortunately, the insurance solutions that can make recovering from a quake easier don’t always attract the same level of interest.?But Lindsay Corran is on a mission to raise consumer awareness about this invaluable coverage.

Lindsay is the Creative Director for GeoVera, a California-based insurance group that provides innovative insurance solutions in catastrophe-exposed areas.?For the last two decades, she has worked to develop remarkable digital experiences that support GeoVera’s business strategy and engage customers and insurance agents alike.?Lindsay holds a BA in Design and Visualization from Silicon Valley College and a degree in Digital Marketing Strategies from the Kellogg School of Management.

Like many in our industry, Lindsay didn’t plan on a career in insurance.?In fact, she was initially embarrassed to admit she worked for a carrier!?It was the opportunity to engage with insurtech that really turned things around.?Lindsay returned from the first ITC conference eager to help agents embrace the technologies needed to remain relevant in today’s online marketplace.?Today, she continues to help GeoVera develop new products and tools, including conversational quoters, so that consumers can find the right solution for their needs.?Lindsay also shares how she was able to apply the social media skills she developed for her “side hustle” to transform GeoVera’s marketing approach.
