Sports - thinking out of the box, fast.
This pandemic has really forced us all to think out of the box and in an accelerated form. The circumstances and situation, as unprecedented as they are, has totally rocked the normal scheme of things and completely shifted the markers in all sense of the word.
Is this the death of sports facilities, indoor halls, arenas and stadiums? Will the solo athlete in the digital sports community be sustainable? How will people compete, socialise through sports from here on? or do we have to view and accept a new definition of sports?

"Fun On Ice" (and off it too!)
With the extended period of lockdown resulting in the continued closure of all sports and recreational facilities, there must be a way to keep ice skaters engaged even when they are not on ice.
As with typical elite or competitive sports training cycles, it is imperative that the programme integrates both in and off season goals and activities, along with on-site and off-site work. Ice Skating and Speed Skating are no different. Check out some off ice work by National Speed Skater Lucas Ng, adding a dash of 'Fun On Ice' into the workouts.
