Before diving into the depth and breadth of sport business and the latest updates from SPORTFIVE, here are some of July’s sporting highlights:?

Double Delight on the Course?????

SPORTFIVE clients Brian Harman and Akshay Bhatia, two left-handed players, made it a historic weekend for SPORTFIVE towards the end of July with their respective victories at the 151st Open Championship and the Barracuda Championship. Harman's victory at Royal Liverpool ensured SPORTFIVE clients hold two of the four golf majors for 2023 after Jon Rahm's triumph at The Masters earlier this year. Rahm also featured in the top 10 at The Open, as did two of our other clients, Tom Kim and Matthew Jordan.?

BVB In The USA???

Bundesliga giants Borussia Dortmund touched down in the USA for their pre-season tour which will see them face San Diego Loyal, Manchester United and Chelsea as they prepare for 2023/24 season. SPORTFIVE are proud to have been BVB's exclusive marketing agency since 1999. This includes the running of their English-speaking social media channels (@BlackYellow).?

Matildas Shine Bright????

1.24 million viewers tuned in on Channel Seven in Australia to watch the women’s football team open their FIFA Women’s World Cup campaign against Ireland, outperforming the Ashes test viewership by threefold.??

New Zealand Make Historic Start???

New Zealand celebrated their first-ever FIFA Women’s World Cup victory with a 1-0 triumph over Norway in the opening game of the tournament.??
