Spooky Success: Powering Up People, Not Just Profits
REAL GROWTH
I want to write about growth in this month’s article - not 10x-ing or 1000x-ing your revenue, but real growth. Some of you, maybe many of you, will read this and not know what Kudos and our team are about. We are focused on the growth of people - financially, sustainably, mentally, physically, and emotionally. Not just individuals, but societal growth, something we do not really hear much about anymore, well, other than to say we need it.
In fact, it is that very need that we aim to solve. We hold the solutions that will solve the problems we all have and in the process solve the problems of our organizations (Kudos Miracles and DemoCry too), ourselves, our communities, and the world as a whole.
Economically speaking (Supply and Demand), we supply what everyone wants, needs, and desires - change. Real change, not some re-circulation of the promise of solving the problems, but change that really does do things differently and moves away from the old systems that are destroying our economies, our communities, and our world.
Whether it be through education that helps people develop emotional intelligence, financial literacy, or soft skills, or through medical research that provides affordable and effective pathways to health without relying on addictive and damaging drugs, or through true democracy, people’s truth, and world peace, we will bring our solutions to life. We will continue to build upon our trusted and valued community, collaborations, support base and our projects.
I said I wanted to talk about growth, and I mean it. We are looking to find people and organizations that wish for prosperity, not just for their business or family, but for our whole world. People and organizations that realize that it is time for change, that people have had enough and want something better, a future that is more similar to what we all imagined it would be as we were young children, rather than the mess we are currently in.
So, the growth I wanted to talk about is growth for us all. We hold the solutions, we know that people are the solution to all of the big problems we face. We do not just talk about the problems, we have the solutions. The solutions are not the UN or World Health Organization, not the WEF or any other of our overseeing hierarchies or brand name charity. They have all had their chances and they have all lead us to certain decline and possible destruction.
Having spoken with so many people, we all know some of the problems, we all fear what is coming, and no one seems to have the solutions.
Well we do.
And now we need to grow. So, I hope you are reading this for a reason, and I hope that reason is that you can see the need in your life, that of your family and community, and that of our world.
The time is now and we cannot just give up. We must rise up and join in unity as a wonderful miracle force, uniting to solve the problems of the world, not create more.
If you see that you are not the problem,
if you see that people are the solution,
if you want to make the miracle happen,
please do reach out to me and let's talk about what we can do to change the world.
You are not alone. We are together. We are all so very different yet more alike than we could ever imagine.
With much love and power to us all at this very difficult time in our world.
The Thrill of Halloween: Why We Love to Play Dress-Up and the Masks We Wear Every Day
Melissa Patrick
Ah, the wispy breezes of Halloween - when everything smells like pumpkin spice, candy abounds, and the only rules are the ones there to break. Whether you're girl-Deadpool, Beetlejuice, or some Inside Out mood this year, Halloween lets us literally step into someone else’s life if not just for one short, mischief-filled night.
But why do we love it so much?
What is the draw of putting on someone else’s life, real or imaginary, that gets our eyes wide and hearts pumping?
?Let’s break it down. (Cue MC Hammer)
Costumes Are a Free Pass to Let Loose
There’s something irresistible about stepping into a costume that says, "Today, I’m not Sue from Accounting, I’m Uber-Hades, Lord of All That Is Evil In The Universe And Beyond, Commander of Eternal Darkness... and possibly the reason someone in this office is missing their stapler MWAHAHAHA." It’s the passport to the parallel universe where we can break these chains of love - erm -?our daily identity and do whatever we want, within reason, mostly.
For one night, we’re allowed to shed our skin and be whatever we want. Terrifying. Flirty.
Maybe we’re feeling that sexy crayon costume this year. Guys? Halloween lets us explore the Swifty-Kelcie sides of our personality that are typically hidden behind these so-professional facades.
Finally, Someone Else for a Change
It’s not just about throwing on a costume - it’s about literally becoming someone or something else. When we’re covered in fur or painted up in glitter, we're free to ditch society's pressures of being “us†for a night. No deadlines. No bills. No existential crisis waiting in our inbox.
We're Batman now, and Batman doesn’t check emails.
Is it any surprise that so many people jump at the chance to transform? Freedom is so liberating, amirite? Let’s face it, it’s an incredible excuse to be daring, play with figurative fire, and break boundaries. In a world where so much time is spent worrying about how we’re perceived, costumes are refreshing, a creative escape.
Wouldn't that be sweet?
Our Everyday Masks: Not Just for Halloween
The twist - we all wear masks every day. Metaphorical masks - the ones that help us navigate life. And we’ve all got them.
There’s the "I’ve Got My Life Together" mask we wear to find employment and function at work. Then there’s the "Happy-Go-Lucky Friend" mask - the one that makes us laugh at jokes we don’t get and smile along when we’re actually faceplant-exhausted. Or the "I’m Fine" mask we wear when things are anything but fine. We use these masks to hide our vulnerabilities, keep up appearances, or simply fit into the expectations of our society.
My Favorite Holiday
Halloween, however, is our glorious exception where we actually get to take off the weights of societal expectations and play. There’s a beauty in the darkness. And an irony.
Hidden within the shadows, in a costume, we can finally let go of the act we’ve been putting on all year and be our true selves.
The Fun of Controlled Chaos
Let’s not forget that Halloween is an unapologetically chaotic holiday - and we love that.
There's something about the mischief, the unpredictable vibe that brings out our inner “hehehe.†It’s just not every day you see a grown adult dressed as a taco trying to dance with an inflatable t-rex while a herd of Elsa’s run around looking for the house handing out the full-sized candy bars. Halloween makes the absurd completely normal for a night, and we eat up this organized frenzy.
There’s no expectations, no rules, and - most importantly - no judgment. We can be as ridiculous or extravagant as we want, and no one bats an eye (pun intended).
All in Good Fun
At the end of the day, Halloween is one big, spooky, race to the sugar-fueled fun. An undead excuse to feel alive, and be someone we’re not, and maybe wish we were. It’s a playful reminder that life is better when we stop taking ourselves so seriously.
Back to Batman.
Let’s break out of the monotony, swap our daily masks for something way more exciting, and live a little. Actually, a lot.
So, in a few weeks when we’re slipping into that costume, remember: it’s not just pretending - it’s celebrating the many versions of ourselves that we keep tucked away that we may only be letting out when the pumpkins are lit and the moon is full.
If you catch yourself wearing that mask during the other 364 days of the year, then maybe Halloween is a great reminder that it’s okay to be boldly yourself, always.
Now, go put on that Miku wig. You know you want to.
The Toxic Truth: What’s Really on Your Plate?
In our fast-paced, convenience-driven world, the true cost of mass-produced food
often goes unnoticed. What seems like an easy solution to our busy lives could be
harming our health. Supermarket shelves are filled with items that prioritize profit
over nourishment, frequently laced with hazardous chemicals that pose long-term
risks to our well-being. Are you truly aware of what you're eating and how it impacts
your health?
The Reality of Industrial Agriculture
The industrialization of agriculture has revolutionized food production, but at a
significant price. Pesticides, herbicides, and synthetic fertilizers are routinely used to
maximize crop yields. While these chemicals can enhance productivity, they often
leave behind harmful residues on our food. Consider glyphosate, a widely used
pesticide linked to serious health issues like cancer and hormone disruption. Why do
we continue to allow such substances on our plates? The relentless pursuit of profit
often overshadows our need for healthier, more sustainable food practices.
The Cost of Convenience
In addition to the dangers of pesticides, the heavy processing of food—especially pre-
packaged and convenience items—introduces a host of additives and preservatives.
These chemicals may enhance flavor and shelf life, but they can also wreak havoc on
our bodies over time. Ingredients such as high-fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated
oils have been tied to chronic diseases like diabetes, heart disease, and obesity. Even
more concerning, many processed foods are designed to be addictive, leading to
overconsumption and a lack of real nourishment.
A Broader Impact
The implications of these practices extend far beyond individual health; they impact
the environment as well. Chemical runoff from industrial farms not only pollutes our
water sources but also harms ecosystems, ultimately affecting the quality of the food
we consume and the health of our planet. While the immediate goal of feeding a
growing population may seem justifiable, we must consider the profound and lasting
consequences of these practices on both human health and the environment.
Act for Your Health and Future Generations
So, what can we do to protect ourselves and ensure a healthier future for generations
to come? It starts with making conscious choices about the food we consume.
Prioritize organic and locally sourced products that tend to have fewer harmful
chemicals and are grown using sustainable practices. Familiarize yourself with the
origins of your food and be vigilant about reading labels. The more informed you
become, the better equipped you are to demand change in the food industry.
Join the Movement for Healthier Food Systems
It's time to shift our focus from mere productivity to true nourishment. By supporting
food systems that prioritize human health over corporate profit, we can create a
future where food sustains us rather than undermines our well-being. Join the
movement today! Educate yourself, share this knowledge with others, and advocate
for healthier practices in your community. Together, we can drive the change we need
for a healthier world.
Breaking the Cycle of Bullying: Choosing Compassion Over Payback
Have you ever been bullied?
Belittled. Rejected. Mocked. Humiliated. Maybe even beaten?
I have. Like so many others.
For eight long years, from age 8 to 16, I was harassed by classmates & so-called ‘friends.’
It shattered my self-esteem, demolished my self-confidence, crippled me with extreme shyness
& led me to distrust others - & myself.
Over time, I I started to believe I deserved that kind of treatment. I became my own worst bully,
my own nemesis, inflicting pain on myself through self-sabotage & internal mistreatment.
Even worse: it made me see my most beautiful gifts - like my sensitivity & innate generosity - as liabilities, obstacles & weaknesses.

This might feel familiar to some of you…
The bad news: it’s not getting any better.
Bullying at school has only intensified. Social media has become a breeding ground for
humiliation & abusive behaviors, leaving even deeper wounds.
For a long time, I thought about taking a stand against bullying – fighting back, making the
bullies pay for all the damage they’ve caused. An eye for an eye.
But after much reflection, I decided to take a different path.
Instead of demanding revenge, I want to advocate for understanding, tolerance & compassion.
Here’s the truth: bullies don’t just wake up & choose cruelty for no reason.
They usually have been hurt themselves – bullied, abused, or rejected in some way.
You won’t choose to hurt others if you’re not hurting inside first. It’s a cycle.
As my friend Mike Ashabraner wisely says:
“Hurt people hurt people - healed people heal people.â€
Now, let me be clear: this is not an excuse for bullying.
Intentionally hurting others is never acceptable. But maybe, just maybe, it gives us a window
into why it happens in the first place. Not an excuse, but an explanation.
So, what if, instead of pushing back with more pain, we offer love & understanding?
What if, instead of punishment, we promote tolerance & healing?
How about standing by each other, not against one another?
October is Bullying Prevention Month. It all starts with education – not just for those suffering
from bullying, but even more so for those causing it.
How can we lead bullies towards love if all we show them is more pain?
Personally, I choose tolerance & healing over punishment.
How about you?
Clout Tech of the 21 Century in Travel & Aviation
How disruptive technologies are transforming travel
The future of the travel industry is likely to be shaped by technological and social innovation. Travel will become more comfortable with the help of innovations
Passengers around the world are now facing various challenges. As Amadeus analysts found out, these are primarily:
47% of passengers experience discomfort when going through passport control, interacting with security and customs officials. The solution could be automatic transit at the airport. To do this, it is necessary to introduce a system of automatic passage of passport control / customs. The emergence of such technology is expected by 53% of travelers.
Stress after a trip, namely, passing through customs or passport control, is experienced by almost 51% of returning tourists. The solutions to the problem can be as follows:
- Introduction of smart tickets that will automatically update travel data (flight delays, change of departure date, etc.)
- Introduction of M-health technologies, namely, miniature sensors for monitoring heart rate and blood pressure. 82% of travelers want wearable devices to monitor and help reduce stress while traveling.
Researching Options and opportunities in unfamiliar terrain takes up to 47% of tourists' time. The solution may be to create smart recommendations based on the aggregation of data from expert blogs and online directories. Thus, personalized travel guides will be created, the appearance of which is expected by 86% of travelers. 51% of tourists are not aware of the best places, local restaurants and bars. Augmented reality technologies can provide access to historical and cultural information and expert assessments of the area. 61% of travelers expect a mobile app that overlays visual information about physical objects.
Good hotel / restaurant recommendations are lacking in 47% of travelers. Payment technologies in service establishments with payment memory will allow you to keep smart records, evaluate the quality of visited places and, over time, visit them again. 47% of tourists are ready to provide personal data in order to receive more personalized services.
The lack of access to home music, video and business data is a discomfort for business travelers. Cloud computing will give travelers easy access to their own music, video and data from hotel rooms. 59% of business travelers want to work with any data that is available on their home devices.
Which companies are using CLOUD OF EVERYTHING/clout technologies?
S7 Airlines - one of the largest and most respected airlines in Russia – is reaping a number of business rewards after developing its own block chain platform for ticket sales
Easy Jet uses wearable technology. The new staff uniform features LEDs on the shoulders and hem to visually guide passengers. The work wear also has built-in microphones for direct communication with passengers, pilots and crew members. There is also an LED indicator on the lapel of the uniform, which displays basic information about the flight (flight number, direction of flight, etc.). The company used drones to check its fleet of aircraft.
Helsinki-Vantaa Airport (Finland) improves service quality with Wi-Fi and I beacons. Airport operator Finavia has partnered with Walk base to install dozens of sensors in terminals to track passenger movements from the parking lot and further through the terminal. Air harbor services can now prevent queues, and airport shops can now send push notifications to passengers about great deals.
Virgin Atlantic has connected its Boeing 787 aircraft to a wireless network. Now the technical services of the airline and the airport receive real-time data from IOT devices on the operation of aircraft nodes. A single aircraft can produce over 0.3 terabytes of data per flight. The number of flights per year is in the thousands. Boeing's latest aircraft have wireless connectivity to almost everything from engines, flaps, to landing gear.
London City Airport has developed an interconnected sensor network and data hub to track passenger traffic. The project allows you to measure the number of passengers (through a network of sensors / cameras tracking faces), provide clients with location-based services.
Miami Airport has connected more than 500 beacons to the network, which provide detailed information and personalized services to customers in their terminals. In order to use the services based on navigation beacons, travelers need to download the MIA Airport Official mobile app. Users can scan boarding passes, navigate between different points in the airport, and find check-in counters. Based on the distance of the beacons from the passenger, the application calculates the distance between the points and the approximate time for which it can be covered.
Lufthansa has launched a radio frequency tag network and mobile app that can track baggage from terminal to flight. Travelers can check information via Bluetooth.
Australia's largest airline Qantas has launched an entertainment service with Samsung Electronics. To use it, you need the Samsung Gear VR headset, which some aircraft are equipped with. Onboard virtual reality helmets will allow you to watch new movies, learn about the airline's flight directions, get information about traditions, interesting places and establishments of the destination, etc.
Rolls Royce is working with Microsoft to implement IOT technologies to make its aircraft engines “smart.†Microsoft solutions are used to diagnose potential engine failures. Information about engine health, air traffic control, route restrictions and fuel use will be collected from hundreds of sensors inside the engines The data is then analyzed to detect any operational anomalies or indications of malfunctions.
Shenzhen Airport started using An Bot in April 2016, which can work around the clock and respond to emergencies. The robot is equipped with four digital cameras; it can autonomously patrol the terminal and carry out intelligent monitoring, answer passengers' questions about flight information, etc. An-Bot was developed by the Shenzhen Public Security Bureau and the National University of Defense Technology.
Clout seems the best option to take aviation to the next level.
Wandering Souls, From Coast to Coast
Leah Clement
Nomadic hunters, lost and worn,
They drift from pillar to post, forlorn.
By day, they’re scorched by fire’s embrace,
By night, they rest in a tomb-like place.
Each thought that blooms becomes a curse,
Like bullets tearing through their universe.
Hunger grips with ice-cold claws,
Leaving them crippled by unseen laws.
Shadows pass, their faces blurred,
No helping hand, no kind word heard.
Like trees weighed down by fierce winds,
Their branches hang, unmoving, still.
Old, cold, and sleepless through the night,
Frozen hearts filled with endless fright.
No promises await the breaking dawn,
They vanish while the world moves on.
Time drags its feet, a life slips away,
Another soul lost, another day.
Their stories buried in the deep,
Who will listen, who will weep?
Yet in their hearts, a flicker remains,
A dream of shelter that sustains.
Though they wander with no rest in sight,
They still yearn for warmth, for light.
Beneath the endless, grey expanse,
No roof, no food, no second chance.
The arctic cold becomes their bed,
As they fight the death that looms ahead.
Each thought conceived brings pain anew,
As their minds bleed, no hope in view.
Yet somewhere deep, a flame survives—
A place where love and hope still thrives.
Homelessness must be brought to an end,
A quiet home for every friend.
A space where hunger finds no place,
Where love and peace will?fill?the?space.
Home Sweet Home: The Financial Journey Towards Security and Stability
Home is a place which is a basic necessity of life. We see the riches man have the greatest place to live and the poorest person yet has a shelter to cover his head.
We live in a society where a person can be judged by the place where he or she lives.
Almost maximum population strives hard work extra and odd to earn and purchase home for their life where they can stay with their family safe and secure.
Have you ever seen those who live under the trees or under the highways. The construction workers stay on roads with their families. I wonder how do they stay in such places where they don't have privacy and their safety is comprised. What kind of lifestyle they are in where they don't deserve a piece of land. And it's a surprise to know that their are people around the world going through this phase even when we are is 21st century.
The real estate market has become so expensive that forget about poor people but the persons who earn an income, who do jobs maybe one or two are also in a situation that they don't either want to purchase a home or cannot afford to have one.
Personally speaking there were days where once could purchase a house in 1 lakh rupees but now even crores rupees can't buy a house as per your requirement and it's sad to say that day by day the numbers are rising but the land is decreasing.
Migration is one aspect which is also rising at an alarming rate due to which people are not able to afford the house as most of the expense incurs in migrating from one place to another and from country to country.
Many do not develop the are of investment and savings which can help in making houses for yourselves without being burdened by loans. The rich are becoming richer and the poor are becoming poorer day by day. We have to shape future and for this we need to make our investments wisely.
We need to understand the fact that if you build assets that make money for you will give you in a long run. Hence, control and cut down your expenses. And this should be taught in schools to children where we are lacking at the time.
Most school and college curriculums don't have chapters related to Finance. But they do have stories which can no doubt give a person lessons but lessons without implementations will not lead to any effect.
Money management is the most important chapter of the life. Hence one must take lessons and learn this and implement them as well to live a happy and satisfied life.
You can always ask yourself the question that How much did you save and invest to grow your money. And if the answer is 0 then beware that if you can't help yourself no one will help you further leading to equations of no money, no homes, no passion nothing as per your choice.....
Hence, make the change in your habits. Spend on making assets like gold, silver, land and if possible buy others time so they can deliver for you eventually leading you earning well and with your "HOME?SWEET?HOME?".
