Upon moving to the Philadelphia area a little over one year ago, I made it my personal mission to get involved in the community.  Being a former local/state contestant in the Miss America Scholarship Program, philanthropy has been a priority in my life for the past 10 years.  If you've never experienced it (no judgment), I strongly suggest you do.  The act of giving within a community is a beautiful gesture and an overwhelming feeling that is only justly described through abstracts.

Shortly after my move, I became a member of the Young Friends of the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund, a nonprofit organization, based in Philadelphia.  Our mission as young professionals in the area is to find and network with potential sponsors in order to provide funding for the families of sick children in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Delaware.  We do this through galas, happy hours, and other events in and around the city of Philadelphia throughout the fiscal year.  Calling this experience 'rewarding' is a strong understatement.  Giving is a larger than life experience, and working with the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund is no exception.

Over the last year, our fund goals have grown, and our outreach has become much larger; Therefore, we are need of sponsorships, the driving force of who we are and what we do for families.  We have built many strong relationships with business owners and companies in PA, NJ, and DE,  but the need for more support is stronger than ever.

As a member, I am confident that the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund will be a huge success.  With that success comes relief for the families we assist each year.  However, our sponsors are the determining factor and play a major role in how many families we can help.  With our annual Field Day event quickly approaching (April 23rd, 2016), it is time to grow our sponsorships and help you, your business, or your friend's business gain more visibility. 

More funding for families  =  More business visibility  =  More customers  =  a happier community.
