COURSE OVERVIEW

Forensic Audit / Investigators are in high demand globally due to high levels of sophisticated crimes.

STUDENTS WILL LEARN THE FOLLOWING

MODULE 1: 20 fraud/corruption prevention and detection strategies

MODULE 2: Preliminary or per-engagement assessment of the forensic assignment, Engagement Contract, Planning and resource allocation.

MODULE 3: Preparation of suspects/witnesses rough list, Documents Examination- an Introduction.

MODULE 4: Documents examination - keeping the chain of custody, External confirmations, Fraud risk assessment

MODULE 5: Interviewing room rules, Interviewing of witnesses 1, Interviewing of witnesses 2

MODULE 6: interviewing suspects, What if a suspect refuses to talk? Interrogation process

MODULE 7: Forensic report writing standards, editing the report, Expert witnessing rules and practice.

DURATION & MODE OF TUITION DELIVERY

This is a Seminar Level course that is delivered via distance learning within three months. Those with many years’ experience in investigation related processes may take like 2 weeks to complete if they commit around 2 hours of keen and serious reading per day.

1. Lessons will be delivered to the students e-mail addresses.

2. Progress tests will also be delivered via e-mail. There will be a test on every completed module / lesson.
