The Spoken Word Is Not Non-Compliant

To quote a popular workforce motivational author, Brigette Hyacinth, "Leadership is about people - full stop. If you don't have a passion for people, you have no business leading them." I agree 1000%. We must provide the passion, perspective and expertise necessary to assure our team's success - and to instill an effective, respected corporate culture. Specifically, what does this mean? 

First, critical is what I call the need for bilateral communication. Off limits are unanswered emails and phone calls. Gone is the fear of the spoken word in favor of a text. Required is the elimination of the unilateral response of “cannot” in favor of “how can we”. Our entire organization must continue to be proactive in supporting the needs of our employees, our clients, and our business partners. Our motto here at Sun West is best summarized as to work harder, be smarter, be more compassionate and insightful with our clients and co-workers.
