Splinters of discernment.

Splinters of discernment.

Bawling eyes, and lips thy smile,

Bearing love in heart and grieves in a pile

"Can life stroll with me, just for a mile?"

"Sure" said the life, "show me that way",

The heaps of your sorrows, what you blame as you say,

"And if I shall found, your glee shall I pay

As I lead the life, to hear my pleas,

The Fall wind followed with the hissing leaves,

The rustling of the windows, and creaks of the door,

Thy heart shall wander, what it's looking for.

As the life saw my soul, with the reds of stabs,

It held my hand, and my heart it grabbed.

Am I that flower, growing in the meadow alone?

For my heart weeps inside, as I grow on the stone.
