Splash Payments
Below is a simple breakdown of Splash Payments for marketplaces & platforms.
The Basics:
Splash Payments is a Payment Facilitator that handles payments for marketplaces & platforms. The main feature is the ability instantly allow sellers to collect payments from buyers and payout sellers all while collecting a fee for managing the marketplace.
Onboarding New Merchants:
Splash allows you to onboard new vendors directly from your website/app and even supports instant seller approval.
Splitting Payments:
Splash enables you to split payments between the seller and the marketplace. You can even split payments to multiple vendors or referrers.
Charging Fees:
Splash gives you the ability to charge fees on a per seller basis or create groups of sellers with fees associated with anyone within that group. You have the flexibility to charge a percentage fee, a flat fee, monthly or software fee.
Pricing:
Splash pricing is 2.9% +$0.30 per transaction with no additional cost. Splash offers special buy rates for non-profits and fast growing marketplaces.
The marketplace can decide if the fees get passed along to the sellers or are charged to them.
Liability For Fraud, Disputes & Chargebacks:
Splash does not hold the marketplace liable for fraud, disputes or chargebacks. In the case of a chargeback, the seller is ultimately responsible.
Splash works with the marketplace to eliminate fraud and helps customize a strategy to limit their sellers' disputes.
Hardware:
Splash is compatible with some of the top hardware companies such as Pax, Dejavoo & Ingenico just to name a few. So if your marketplace requires physical card readers for in person transactions, they can help you integrate and order the necessary quantities.
Taking payments in-house:
Splash grows with your marketplace and will help you register as a payment facilitator directly with the card networks once your volume is around 10 million per month. For more info visit Payrix.com
