A spiritual person must live in a spiritual way. The outgrowth of Christian maturity is evidenced in how we treat others in the church.
“Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary. So then, while we have opportunity, let’s do good to all people, and especially to those who are of the household of the faith,” (Galatians 6:9–10 NASB).
Use every opportunity to do good. The Christian church is a family. When someone goes through difficult times, we all gather around and help them in their distress.
There seems to always be a need since any one of us can fall at any time. But that’s okay since we long to love. The load that is too heavy for one to carry…is carried by the others. There is no spontaneous recovery from this situation. When someone falls, the spiritually mature must act!
A healthy church is filled with the spiritually mature. If this describes you, then this is your ministry. To pick up people from situations in which they cannot recover themselves. With meekness, gently yet firmly.
What matters is the good of the fellowship firmly rooted in love for each other. Our words and actions should demonstrate true fellowship.
