The spiritual sight

When Elijah (Elisha) servant was looking and saw the army of their enemy surrounded the town he was worried and asked his master to leave and run away from town because he was worried that their small army cannot stand to fight the enemy huge army. “And Elisha prayed, ‘O Lord, open his eyes so he may see.’ Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire with angels all around Elisha.” – 2 Kings 6:17

Elisha was counseling the nation of Israel against the impending attack of the king of Aram. The Lord supernaturally gave Elisha the plans that the king was implementing, and in turn, Elisha warned Israel of each intended attack. The king could not understand why his plans were continually foiled. It seemed there was a secret informer in his midst. He was furious when he was told it was the God of Israel who was to blame for this inside information. The king decided the only way to resolve the situation was to get rid of the problem – kill Elisha.

The king’s forces arrived and surrounded Elisha and his servant. Elisha’s servant became upset and fearful when Elisha was not upset. Elisha immediately prayed that his servant’s eyes might be opened to see that there was no need to be afraid, because the angels were protecting them.

And Elisha prayed, “O Lord, open his eyes so he may see.” Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. As the enemy came down toward him, Elisha prayed to the Lord, “Strike these people with blindness.” So He struck them with blindness, as Elisha had asked (2 Kings 6:17-18).?

God made a cover (Vail) between them, front and back of them so they cannot see the prophet when he walks to safety passing between them .Quran 36:9

This Vail or cover is not the Barzakh, the Barzakh is the hajez or barrio between 2 pressure points, between 2 medium, 2 viscosities, or 2 worlds like the living and the dead, the Barzakh will stay until the judgments day. But this Vail is covering the eyes so one cannot see Whats going on around him. God uses it to help his faithful person from danger. He can use it to make sure that a dangerous animal don’t see him, or the enemy army do not see him.

Who is the Elisha in your life? Do you have a mentor friend who can see the activity of God in your life when you cannot see it? We all need to have somebody we can trust to help us see the activity of God, to see and hear the truth, to guide us to safety with honesty and wisdom. It is often difficult for us to see what God is really doing because we are so consumed by the circumstances of the moment. Ask God today to help open your spiritual eyes that you might see Him in your circumstances.

The holy book of Quran mentioned that the unbeliever eyes are covered with a blind spot and Vail until God help them and guide them to trust in him and walk in faith with him. The Quran call this Gheshawa / the covering to deceive your eye, Gheshawa from ghesh the Arabic meaning of trick and hide the truth so you cannot hear or see the real things. He uses this sometimes to hide the prophet from his enemy. When the prophet was walking from danger no one can see him until he goes to safety.

But even when they cover themselves with their clothes, He knows what they conceal and what they reveal. Surely He knows best what ?hidden? in the heart is. QURAN; 11; 5, the verse here talking about those unbelievers who used to cover their eyes and ears by their clothes and leave the prophet, but God knows what inside their mind and heart.

Allah has sealed their hearts and their hearing, and their sight is covered. They will suffer a tremendous punishment. QURAN 2:7

Those whose eyes were covered from My Reminder and were unable to hear QURAN 18:101

Humiliation will cover them—with no one to protect them from Allah—as if their faces were covered with patches of the night’s deep darkness. It is they who will be the residents of the Fire. They will be there forever. 10:27

?And so? Allah left them to stray knowingly, sealed their hearing and hearts, and placed a cover on their sight. Who then can guide them after Allah? Will you ?all? not then be mindful? 45:23

And He is the One Who spread out the earth and placed firm mountains and rivers upon it, and created fruits of every kind in pairs.1 He covers the day with night. Surely in this are signs for those who reflect. 13:3

And whenever I invite them to be forgiven by you, they press their fingers into their ears, cover themselves with their clothes, persist ?in denial?, and act very arrogantly. 71:7

And when fear approaches, you see them looking at you, their eyes rolling—like someone fainting at death; then, when panic is over, they scald you with sharp tongues, begrudging you any good. Those have not believed, so Allah has nullified their deeds, and this matter has always been easy for Allah. 33:19

 Do they then feel secure from the coming against them of the covering veil of the Torment of Allah, or of the coming against them of the (Final) Hour, all of a sudden while they perceive not? 12:107

He covers the day with night which pursues it swiftly. And (He created) the sun -and the moon and the stars, subjected to His command. Beware, for Him is the creation and the command. Glorious is Allah, the Lord of all the worlds. 7:54

So the word covered it can be a cover over the eye, the cover of darkness and the night, cover over the ears and senses, cover of the night over the morning, the cover of curse and pain, cover of punishment . But how God can do that? How can he cover your eyes so you can pass and the enemy cannot see you? Of course it is a miracle. The only scientific explanation beside miracle is that the change of body vibrating frequency just like the Jinn ,angels and demons they can see us but we cannot in most of the time , we can see them only if our vibration toned with them .
