The Spiritual Side Of Resources

The main thing that makes the world go around are resources. When you have resources you can pull bigger levers to drive more impact and have more influence. But this concept of having resources has a more spiritual and universal meaning than we realize that I want to share with you.
First, the simple definition of a ‘source’ is “the thing or place that something comes from”. In other words, it is the fuel that makes the engine of anything operate. The ultimate source of life is the sun’s light and heat. The source of making sure that we can meet our basic needs is collaboration and the exchange of value.
When you add the ‘re’ which means 'again' and make it ‘resource’, now you can see that it’s just a source than never expires and can be used again and again.?
The sun’s light fuels the food chain where plants take the light, become food for bugs and animals, which become food for each other, and eventually decompose into the soil to provide nutrients again for plants. The energy is never lost, it just transfers forms.
And as a society we’ve agreed upon this resource called money that holds a certain amount of value, and we trade it for the good or service we need, so that it can be used by the next person to be used however they need it. Money isn’t destroyed, it’s just transferred as we collaborate to get what we need and want.
I’m not an economist... But I do know that society is thriving and the economy is good when many people are buying and selling. Why is that? It’s because more people are activating the transformational value of the resource rather than holding onto it.

This is abundance. It’s giving and receiving freely because we know that what we need is available in excess, so there's no concern about us being able to attain it when we need it. However fear and a scarcity mindset keep us from sharing the value we have to offer, and collaborating with each other to the extent that we could, which means that each of us is fearfully keeping it for ourselves and therefore we have less access to it in the collective pot.
The most abundant person I know, who introduced me to the idea of Source as a universal spiritual power (and also happens to be one of wealthiest people I know) is my mentor David Meltzer. He is the definition of it. He does anything for anyone.
He asks for what he wants without guilt, shame, or feeling like he owes someone for it.?
He facilitates the flow of value in any way he can and considers himself a conduit for it.
He understands the idea of ‘resources’ and practices it in everything he does.
