SPIRITUAL (S01E06) - BIMBER DISTILLERY: The Bimber Klub

The amateurs of whisky belong to a secret society; the one of patient sippers, time stoppers and silence seekers. Whisky is a spirit which explodes with complexity, and one which one cannot simply just drink. It takes time to discover the richness of the spirit, the diversity of its offer, its aromas and flavours. Very often, and naturally, whisky lovers tend to gather together – after all sipping a wee dram is only complete when it is shared. Bimber Distillery has pushed the boundaries of whisky societies by creating their own member’s club; the #BimberKlub.

Members have access to exclusive annual releases, premieres, events, tastings, tours, discounts, and the Bimber Klub Product Development; a chance to participate in the making of the whisky, by providing feedback on products, casks and names! London is full of member’s clubs, but one like this, we find it quite unique and one to certainly consider.

Many create exclusivity by breeding rarity; producing little, with high quality products, expert hands and a polished concept. But with Bimber Distillery, it is even more. Yes, the distillery focuses on reaching a particular – and quite exceptional – result by using traditional, and at times unusual, techniques and approaches, all coated with an impenetrable passion for whisky, but this is because to the distillery that is the only way to produce whisky. With passion, knowledge and patience. The rarity of their products is the result of a combined small production and strong demand. In other words, if you want to get a hold of Bimber, keep a close eye and act quickly!
