Spirit of Unity is not lost

Today is an anniversary which none of us want to celebrate. We all want to remember the sacrifices, the families and the people who did not survive this horrific attack.??I personally lost a high school friend who was at my wedding. She was on the 105th?floor working for Canter and Fitzgerald when the first plane hit.??Stacey Peak will be remembered for being intelligent, dynamic, beautiful inside and out, just one of the good ones and from my small town of Tell City, Indiana.??

I remember how the country came together to do whatever we needed to. I was in line for 4.5 hours to give blood which seemed so minor to what our first responders did that day.??We all wanted to do something besides cry.??

This week Kathleen Collier, our Director of Sales and Marketing sold her house after 18 years.?Kathleen lost her husband unexpectedly and lost her job in the same week 3 years ago.?She never gave up and I am proud she is on our team. But here is why I am certain we will be better.??Kathleen sold her house to a single mom who desperately wanted to be in a better school district. I know for a fact she could of sold it for a lot more money and a more secure buyer.?She chose to take less money and do the right thing.??You are an inspiration, Kathleen.?
