??Spirit Circle Chronicles?? ?? Part 3, Day 2: Embracing the Unforeseen

? As the sun rose, painting the sky with vibrant hues, I awakened to a chorus of diverse bird songs.

The waterhole nearby had breathed life into the land, attracting creatures in search of its refreshing embrace. ?

?? Curiosity bubbled within me though—I heard footsteps, who had visited during the night?

Although confined to my small space, I scanned for footprints as best I could. ????

Surrounded by stones, it would have been difficult for anything to quietly pass.

This place, once a knapping site of our wise First Nations people, held a profound history etched into the very fabric of the landscape.

They skillfully crafted tools, striking stones together to create sharp edges for their needs.

I could feel their presence, hear their laughter, and immerse myself in the stories that echoed through time.

? The essence of their existence intertwined with the earth, a symbiotic relationship that ran deep.

They understood the sacredness of their actions, working in harmony with the natural laws and whispers of wisdom.

They were part of the dreamtime, carrying the knowledge and traditions of generations.

?? As the echoes of their stories slowly faded, I turned my attention inward.

The scorching heat bore down upon me, urging me to adjust my chair and umbrella, seeking shelter from the relentless sun. ?

Time had become a mystery, with only the sun's position as a faint guide.

The day stretched endlessly, yet in this sacred space, the absence of temptations made fasting feel surprisingly effortless.

Although I fast often and for at least a week each time, this feels effortless, there is no desire for food at all. ?? ♀???

?? I start thinking of this process that both Martin and I are doing, where’s he at, how’s he feeling?

and in that moment I realise that, this spirit circle that we’re embarking on is very masculine, it feels warrior-like, survival-like, there’s nothing feminine about this, this is the making of a man.

?? The goddess is the one who is protected by the warrior, kept safe while she connects to her guidance and weaves her magic.

Will I do this again? No ?

?? Amidst the dust and fly buzz, irritation flickered momentarily.

But as I looked up, two kangaroos ???? gracefully made their way to the waterhole, a reminder of the sacredness and beauty that surrounded me. ?

? The annoyance dissolved, replaced by awe and wonder once again. ??

I reaffirmed my safety and embraced the grandness of life. ??

?? As the second night unveiled its breathtaking sunset, a kaleidoscope of colors danced across the sky—a perfect transition from one hue to another.

? The beauty was unmatched, the atmosphere filled with an ethereal magic. I longed to capture the moment, to freeze it in time, to share its magnificence. But the realization struck that this experience was solely mine—a gift meant to be cherished in the depths of my being.

?????

With the fading light, the buzzing flies retreated, leaving behind a profound silence.

Peace enveloped me entirely, and I acknowledged the privilege of witnessing this magnificent moment, a moment untouched by anyone else in the world. In that solitude, I recognized the depth of my blessings. ??

Suddenly, the symphony of kangaroos disrupted the tranquility—a sound I’m familiar with from back home.

?? I turned and found myself face-to-face with four kangaroos, their presence still and inquisitive, seeking reassurance of their safety. In that moment, I understood our shared longing for security, our innate desire for a tribe to call our own.

I had embarked on this journey in faith yet dreading the perils that could happen in the darkness.

? But tonight I felt really good, as day transformed into night, I found myself captivated by the beauty of the transition, the miraculous adaptation of our eyes, and the symphony of life settling or awakening. ?

As a teen through a personal and profound experience, I came up with the quote “What you fear the most offers you the most” It stands true right now because truth is timeless and unchanging. ??

With a sense of peace pervading my being, I embraced the approaching night, confident that it would be kind to me. Little did I know that the universe had a test in store, a challenge that would push my limits.??

? To be continued...
