Generosity; Giving something to someone is the most amazing part of Christmas. But the spirit of Christmas should last all year, not just one day.
We can give at other times of year too and not only at Christmas. We can make each other feel special on other days as well. No doubt, the value of giving becomes much more on the occasion of Christmas. But we should not let giving be something that happens only on Christmas. And giving is not just about fancy gifts. Giving can be anything big and small. Thanking someone for their presence in your life, or giving an honest compliment, writing a letter, or a hug, all are forms of giving.
Christmas is beautiful not just because of the things we decorate but also because of the way we touch each other’s hearts. The spirit of Christmas lies in the acts of care and kindness.
