Our nervous systems are designed to detect and respond to both threats and opportunities. When leaders grasp how individual nervous systems impact one another, they can better manage the collective energy.

The science behind change reveals a fascinating interplay between our nervous systems and our behaviour. Our bodies remember change at a cellular level. This phenomenon, known as cellular memory, suggests that our cells store memories of past experiences, influencing how we react to new situations. When faced with change, our nervous system triggers responses based on these cellular memories, which can manifest in a myriad of ways.

When change is truly embraced, it ushers in innovation, resilience, and a deeper sense of identity leading to purpose. Too often, businesses think change resembles a plan and steps, combined with some consultation and, if you're lucky, coaching initiatives. Both have their place but aren't the answer to sustainable collective change that leads to sustainable performance. ?
