Spinning plates...family, work and life. Juggling toddlers, babies, work while setting up a new business is EXHAUSTING!

Since we kicked off, we have swung between being excited and overwhelmed about this new venture and the vision of the work we want to do with children and adults with autism and with their families.

Carving out time to create our future is tricky, but when we find that time to think, create, and share our vision, we get excited and are confident that it will all be worthwhile.

Having worked in this field for a long time, we know we want to provide a holistic approach to families and professionals. We are keen to ensure that people with ASD have the support in place to enable them to reach their potential.

We’re doing all of this whilst dealing with our own young children disputing about a toy and struggling to share their space and time!

These daily battles echo what we hear from the families we work with as they try to navigate the complex social rules and interactions alongside the sensory and practical demands that life throws up.

We look forward to sharing the fruits of our labour soon with the upcoming launch of our website www.autism-unravelled.com

If you can relate to this situation of multi-tasking whilst setting up a new business please share your experiences by tweeting us or writing to us at [email protected]
