The Spin Sucks 30-Day Communications Challenge

Happy New Year, everyone!
I hope you had very happy holidays.
Are you ready to get back to it?
Let’s do it!
Beginning today, we launch The Spin Sucks 30-Day Communications Challenge.
This is to help you get 2017 started on the right foot, it’s to provide a community of like-minded professionals with whom to work and brainstorm, and it’s to hold all of us accountable to a very successful year.
And, best of all, it’s free!
This program won’t help with weight loss or exercise or eating well (though we can cheer you on if those are your personal goals!).
It will, however, help you with your communications plan?—?everything from building your mission and vision (or refining it if you already have one) to implementing a PESO model program…and measuring it.
Yes, we will help you finally figure out how to measure your communications efforts.
This year is going to be a good one for our industry. Together, we are going to prove our worth.
The Spin Sucks 30-Day Communications Challenge
What is The Spin Sucks 30-Day Communications Challenge, you ask?
Like many communicators, you probably have a goal of building a communications program that integrates all four media types?—?and has metrics that can prove you contribute to an organization’s goals.
Likewise, you may have a goal of improving your writing skills or your frequency of writing, but it can be hard to stay inspired.
The shoemaker’s children is a very real thing and, while January is a great time to put those plans in place, it’s rare to fulfill them beyond the first month of the year.
We are going to help you!
The Spin Sucks 30-Day Communications Challenge is, well, a 30-day program that will help you build (0r refine) your communications program, improve your writing skills, and give you extra credit for doing things beyond the daily prompt.
Because we are beginning this on January 3?—?and we don’t want you to be working on a plan into February?—?we have included a daily prompt on the weekends.
This means, if you set aside 30 minutes a day to work on this?—?and that’s about what you’ll need?—?you’ll need to factor in either doing the same during the weekends or building in an hour on Mondays and Tuesdays.
It’s not easy and it’s going to be a quick habit you need to build, but it’ll be worth it.
I promise.
