Spend Some Time with the Blockchain Primitives

In this time of blockchain hyperventilation, I’m always surprised at how few people really understand the fundamental ideas of how it works.

A “primitive” is stable, well established, building block of a larger, more complex system. Without understanding some level these basics, it’s very difficult to say that you really know what you’re talking about when it comes to cryptocurrencies, or other manifestations of the blockchain.

So, I invite you to spend some time (~27 minutes of your life) with the blockchain primitives like the Hash, the Block, the Blockchain, Decentralized Records, Tokens, Public/Private Keys, and Cryptographic Signatures in the excellent, visual explanation and demo found below.
