In Neil Patel's Forbes post Why Do the Best Startups Execute Faster than Anyone Else? he recommends executing quickly - far more quickly than most small business owners are comfortable doing.
But he is right. These same concepts apply to every small business. Your primary advantages over corporations are speed of implementation and personalized customer service.
Why You Must Act Quickly for Maximum Profits
Maximum profits for every strategy occur in the early stages of every new platform when competition is light and the platform is giving more of the profits to new clients to entice them to get on board.
Later, competition heats up, prices go up, and the platforms will retain more of the profits for themselves. Do not wait to "think about it". Decide and act immediately.
Avoid Perfection, But Do Focus On Stability
I have been involved in the beta and even alpha testing of many SaaS solutions. Less is more. Launch with your highest priority core features SOLID. Even beta testers have little tolerance for what is buggy or not working. They make snap judgments and then won't consider you again.
Launch with solid basics and then iterate to add features later. Always use a test system - never launch them without thorough testing first on your live system and risk your current customer base getting so annoyed that they leave and won't come back.
Maximum Profits Are Yours For The Taking
Maximum profits go to those who recognize opportunities and immediately seize them. Do your research as soon as you identify a new possibly profitably strategy. Ask around; find out whether what you are considering is working for others and how well. And then act NOW - not later!
