Spectrum Public Relations: Farewell and onto the Next Chapter

After a rewarding and successful decade in business, I am officially saying farewell to Spectrum Public Relations. I have been offered an incredible professional opportunity that I am not able to pass up. So, Spectrum PR will officially close its doors on Friday, December 31.

This was a decision I did not take lightly. Owning a public relations company at a time when companies understood, more than ever, the importance of staying connected through communications took us to groundbreaking, new levels of activity. The ongoing effects of the pandemic are keeping firms like Spectrum PR very busy at a time when other industries have suffered. I am thankful to be able to choose to step away, transitioning to the next chapter of my professional life.

?As a first-generation college student, I understand deeply the importance of higher education and how it impacts the individual, as well as the lives of their children, families and communities. With this in mind, I accepted the role of Executive Director of Advancement Communications at Florida Atlantic University. I look forward to sharing my expertise to support and impact university students and academic programs. I will begin in this role on Monday, January 10.

I want to express my deepest gratitude to my clients and colleagues for the trust you put in me, the company, and my team over the years. You provided us with meaningful work. I am incredibly thankful to have been part of your team, helping you accomplish your business goals and telling your stories.
