As we approach Earth Day on April 22nd, Spectra Baby USA is proud to reaffirm our commitment to environmental sustainability and stewardship. We recognize the importance of preserving our planet for future generations, and we are dedicated to taking meaningful actions to minimize our environmental impact and promote eco-friendly practices.

?? Recovering Materials: Through our recycling program, components and materials from old breast pumps are recovered and repurposed whenever possible. This includes plastics, metals, and electronic components, which can be recycled and used in producing new products or materials.

• Spectra has recycled over 7,200 pounds of electronics in 2023 – including customer returns and end-of-life recycling.
• Spectra recycles 100% of all cardboard and production paper waste.?

?? Eco-Friendly Product Design /?Packaging: We believe that sustainable product design is key to promoting environmental stewardship. That's why we prioritize eco-friendly materials and production processes in the design and manufacturing of our breast pump accessories. All items that come into contact with breast milk are made with BPA-free materials.?

• We updated consumer packaging with less materials.
• We optimized shipping carton configurations to reduce waste throughout supply chain and improve process efficiencies.?
• Spectra facilities - LEED recertification has been completed.?

?? Extending Product Lifespan: Through our Scratch and Dent Program, breast pumps packages that have minor cosmetic imperfections or superficial damage are repackaged and made available to breastfeeding mothers.
