A Special Staff Thank You From David Ozmore

Dear Friends and Colleagues;

It is with a mix of gratitude and sadness that I announce the retirement of our esteemed Senior Vice President of Community Health and Government Relations, Susan Jacobs . After 38 years of dedicated service to the Harrisburg Area YMCA, Susan has decided to step into a well-deserved retirement. Her last day at our YMCA is June 28, 2024.

Throughout her tenure, Susan Jacobs has been an invaluable asset to our organization. She has been instrumental in shaping our community health initiatives and strengthening our relationships with government entities. Under her leadership, we have seen remarkable growth in our outreach programs, advocacy efforts, and partnerships that have significantly benefited the community we serve.

Susan's passion for improving community health and her unwavering commitment to our mission has left an indelible mark on the Harrisburg Area YMCA. She has been a mentor to many, a leader who inspired us to strive for excellence, and a friend whose presence will be greatly missed.

As we bid farewell to Susan, we are also excited about the future and the opportunities it holds. We are committed to continuing her legacy and furthering the mission of the Harrisburg Area YMCA.
