ELEBIA Autohooks is a crane hook engineering and production company. Its activity began in 2006 when, after buying some cranes, they found some inconvenience in terms of hooks. Despite the cranes' extreme level of sophistication, ultimately an operator had to climb onto the load to attach it to the hook. So, they designed the first automatic hook. Throughout these years they have launched numerous products and versions of lifting hooks and claws to the market.
In the future, they plan to develop new products and accessories to improve loading and unloading operations and provide new solutions to different sectors and industries.

The relationship with SELTER began in 2009, when they consulted us to manufacture magnetic plates that should be placed at the base of the lifting hook. In this way the magnetic plate would attract the ring of the load cable and position it before automatically closing the hook. Various tests and designs were made until we got the magnetic plate with the right strength and shape. After this first design, others of different shapes and strengths followed for other hook models. Therefore, ELEBIA Autohooks crane hooks have a unique magnetic system made up of a certain number of Neodymium permanent magnets placed in a specific configuration to generate an oriented magnetic field that performs three functions: attracting, centering and orienting the ring.
This basic component, present in all types of automatic safety hooks available from ELEBIA Autohooks, is what allows the hooking of loads from a distance thanks to a remote control.
