As we reflect on the recent challenges faced by so many communities across the United States due to the devastating impacts of Hurricane Helene and the severe flooding that followed, our hearts go out to all those affected. We acknowledge the struggles and hardships endured by individuals and families as they navigate the aftermath of this disaster. The resilience and strength shown by these communities inspire us all during such difficult times.
At Hankins Village MHP in Marion, NC, we are grateful to report that our MH community has experienced minimal damage being suited high up overlooking the city. However, we believe it is our responsibility to extend support to our neighbors and fellow MH neighbors who have been more significantly impacted. In light of this, we have reached out to peer properties in our area to assist in housing displaced tenants. We have also spoken to city officials, offering any assistance possible to aid in this disaster that has uprooted so many.
We hope that other landlords in any other region will follow our actions, making temporary housing available and opening their doors and hearts to their neighboring residents most effected.
