Husky Stadium is hours away from being filled with 80,000 screaming fans & 4,127 brave athletes for the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games. This core group of amazing professionals have no memory of sleeping for more than 4 hours a night but the Opening Ceremony is finally here! It will be good for your heart & soul to watch this event today. It airs live at 12:30pm Pacific / 3:30pm Eastern on ABC.

The Special Olympic athletes have inspired me and they will inspire you too. And after producing shows for 30 years, I am still learning to improve at what I do thanks to the other amazing people in this picture. I love my job.
