How do I Become a Member?

Simply complete the brief online registration form. Once you receive your official Sourcewell account number, you can quickly make a purchase with any Sourcewell awarded supplier. Simply provide your account number to the supplier to receive contract pricing.

How do I Order Equipment?

Work with your local supplier. As an example, we at Leavitt Machinery represent six manufactures that already have agreements in place.

All you need to do is engage with us, provide your member number, and once we determine the right machine for your needs, we will get you the pre-negotiated pricing.

For equipment needs, generally, the purchase is split up into two transparent invoices.

• Your factory price
• Freight, prep and additional items needed that are variable based on location and other factors

How are Manufacturers Selected?

Manufacturers can not simply register to participate. They must engage in a competitive solicitation process through a Request for Proposal process.

All applicants to be a vendor are evaluated by Sourcewell’s Board of Directors who awards the contract to the most ‘responsive and responsible supplier(s)’.

Why not just do my own Tender Process?

One of the most frustrating things I have seen as a supplier is the Tender process. Generally, the expertise of suppliers is removed from the process.

The hard truth is that suppliers are incentivized to quote the bare minimum being asked. In most cases, trying to offer value is a punishment, and in the end, both parties lose out.

As a purchaser, you may not be getting the right solution for your needs, and are missing out. This process gives you the price savings that come with a Tender process, but you do not need to expend/waste resources going through the process, and you likely get a better price anyways.
