Without special education, students with disabilities would face significant challenges that could hinder their educational and personal development. Here are some potential consequences:
Limited Access to Education: Students with disabilities might be excluded from regular classrooms or educational settings, leading to limited access to quality education. This exclusion could result in lower academic achievement and fewer opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Inadequate Support: Without special education, students with disabilities would not receive the tailored support and accommodations they need to succeed. This includes individualized instruction, assistive technologies, and specialized therapies that address their unique needs.
Increased Dropout Rates: The lack of appropriate educational support could lead to higher dropout rates among students with disabilities. Frustration and disengagement from the educational process might result in students leaving school prematurely.
