Special Edition: How much could the 2024 election change our education system?

How well is your organization prepared for a shift in federal funds? How about a change in state education policy? The upcoming election could have significant effects on your work --and still there is a lot we don’t know know. What we do know: Education leaders are both nervous about the election and may not yet have received the right information to prepare. Anxiety could be outpacing understanding.

2. Develop a contingency plan–Prepare a "Red Folder" and "Blue Folder" with action plans tailored to the outcomes of either a Republican or Democratic win.
3. Decide to play offense or defense–Consider taking proactive steps to fight unwanted changes or diversity your strategies and funding sources.
