A Special Announcement from Jenny: #VWS2024 is Here!

Dear LinkedIn family,

Happy Friday! Today, I've got big news to share with you.

Since we've been connected on LinkedIn, I'm sure you've seen some of the work I've been doing to launch The Vegan Women Summit?(VWS), the world's biggest conference for the future of food, fashion, beauty, and sustainability. It's been a long and hard journey, but the work is truly starting to pay off.

When I launched VWS nearly four years ago, I had spent most of my tech career in Silicon Valley as the only woman in the room. At the time, food innovation was barely breaking onto the mainstream, but I knew big change was coming.

I thought to myself, "this industry could save the world... but only if it empowers everybody to be a part of the solution." And, just like that, VWS was born.

Today, we're the only conference in the industry built and led by women, because we believe that the only?way to build a better world?is by empowering women leaders (and their allies) -- after all, women make 80% of all consumer purchases, including 93% of food purchases. Now, VWS has expanded to become a global launchpad for all sustainable innovation, including fashion, beauty, and biotechnology, too.

Last year, our?summit was hosted by NYC Mayor Eric Adams and grew to nearly 1,200 attendees, plus reached an audience of over 50 million people with features in?Good Morning America,?Fast Company, and?Forbes.

And something even bigger happened that year: our audience grew to nearly 60% non-vegan attendees. Not to mention, 1 in 5 of our attendees were male. This just goes to show we are truly building a cultural revolution from all walks of life.

I am proud to share that we're officially bringing #VWS2024 back to our West Coast roots on May 9-10th in West Hollywood with a stunning lineup of 80+ brands and speakers! Chaired by the iconic Maggie Baird , Founder of Support+Feed , this year's event will be our biggest year yet.

You'll hear from titans of industry sharing their stories for the first time:

• Heather Mills' triumphant victory in buying back her legacy brand, VBITES?

To be honest, when our team started building this year's summit last Spring, things were in a different place. With the economy changing, startups going under, and plant-based sales declining, we really did wonder if we could even pull this off.
